I hate leaks. Imagine a crime where the detective had to give a fixed written quote on how long it take to solve. That's what a leak job is like.
BUT I have a tip learned over many years and at considerable financial cost to me from so called experts.
The tip is ... look to your gutters. Most home leaks are from blocked and overflowing gutters: I'd say 4 out of 5 maybe.
Rain water running down your exterior walls or through the ceiling can pop out almost anywhere. That's why it's so hard to track back to the source.
Look at your gutters and get someone to clean them out (not me if your gutter is more than 1 story please). And you may well save thousands.
PS. I don't do leaks. BUT if you have a paint or handyman problem click here and I'd be happy to help.
