Hi I’m Tony Richardson – The Tidy Painter.
I specialise in painting domestic interiors especially historic homes that are often found in Crows Nest. I'm one of those painters with a real passion for these older homes - Federation/Edwardian, Art Deco, even Post War.
Recently I was painting a really nice Art Deco apartment on Emmett st, Crows Nest. It had all the moulded ceilings, picture rails and timber work. But the brick fire place was looking a bit dark and dingy. So after lots of filling I painted it a nice fresh white ... and the client couldn't have been happier.
The trick with older houses is to be very thorough in fixing all the different kinds of cracks in the ceilings, walls and timber BEFORE the paintings starts. The client mentioned above was surprised at how much work happened before the paint cans even got opened. (So its important to search for Crows Nest Painters who are experienced in the prep. and crack repair work required for older homes.)
And another thing that my Crows Nest clients like is that I'M LOCAL!
I focus on painting in the lower north shore area of Sydney - Crows Nest, Cammeray, Mosman, Cremorne etc. This just works out better for everyone. (I just checked on Google and it says I'm an 8 minute drive from my home to Xenos cafe in Crows Nest. Thats Close!)
