Because most of my work is on Sydney's The Lower North Shore I've had a lot of experience working on houses that are old at the front and renovated at the back.
I really enjoy the challenge of preparing and painting the ornate plasterwork and ceilings of many houses in the area.

POST RENOVATION PAINT JOB
FEDERATION/EDWARDIAN HOUSE (APPROX. 120 YEARS OLD) - THE CRESCENT MOSMAN
PROJECT - After both bathrooms were renovated the rest of the house needed colour rejuvenation. The client had lots of exciting and colourful ideas. - Paint white ceilings, various coloured walls, white trim.
HOME - 4 Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, entrance, hall, lounge, dining, family room, kitchen - High detailed ceilings. Trim - 4 panel doors, French doors, picture rails, high skirting, fire places, sash windows, bay windows, built in desks, wardrobes.
REPAIRS - Cracked ceilings and walls, mould, gaps in T&G family room ceiling
TIME - 8 weeks

VICTORIAN HOUSE (APPROX. 140 YEARS OLD) - WOLGER RD MOSMAN PROJECT - The client wanted her own colour scheme applied to a home she had bought but not yet moved into. The client had employed a colour consultant with some surprising ideas. - Paint white ceilings, various coloured walls, white trim. HOME - 3 Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, entrance, hall, lounge, dining, family room, kitchen - High detailed ceilings. Trim - 4 panel doors with transom windows, French doors, picture rails, high skirting, fire places, sash windows, hall cupboard. PROJECT - The client wanted a colourful change made to plain walls throughout a small art deco unit. Ceilings and trim were left white.
HOME - 2 Bedrooms, 1 bathroom, hall, lounge, kitchen.
TIME - 2 weeks

CLEAN AND BRIGHT TRANSFORMATION
MODERN UNIT (APPROX. 30 YEARS OLD) - MOODIE ST CAMMERAY PROJECT - An otherwise sound unit was spoiled by peeling ceiling paint and old marked walls and doors. A slightly lighter colour brightened and 'cleaned up' the look of this unit without a radical colour change. HOME - 2 Bedrooms, 1 bathroom, hall, lounge, kitchen. TIME - 3 weeks CLIENT EXPERIENCE - "You were not the cheapest but I thought you'd do the best job. It looks great! And thank you for you taking such great care of the furnishings while you worked.
